Hocking Hills Getaway: Spa Pool, Trails & Firepit

We had a wonderful stay at The Ember! It was a perfect way to end our summer. Our family's favorite parts were the private trails, pool, and creek. We didn't feel we needed to leave the property for anything, which made it so relaxing and a very easy trip. The house is so clean and very well-maintained! We will absolutely book again!!

The home and grounds were absolutely beautiful. The home was equipped with everything we could possibly need, and the tranquil interior made for such a relaxing stay. The pool was perfect and so refreshing. Everything was exceptionally clean and well cared for. We had a wonderful stay and can’t wait to return!

10/10 recommend Bell Bottom Retreat!! It was by far the best rental I have stayed at in the Hocking Hills area and could not have been more impressed with the house, amenities, or the property in general. My family stayed at The Ember and it was the perfect place for a summer vacation. The owners have stocked the house with all of the necessary items and anticipated all needs renters could have. The local coffee grounds were a nice bonus and fun to try a local shop (we all loved it!). There was so much to do on the property that we only left once to go into town and check out the Children's Museum on a rainy morning. When looking for a vacation rental, I wanted a place my family could go to unplug and not have to leave the property and that is exactly what I got here. My son LOVED fishing at the large lake (stocked full of fish), playing on the pickle ball courts, playing in the pool, having bonfires, laying in the hammock, and exploring all of the outdoor trails/creek right in the backyard of the house. Perfect location for families with young kids, couples getaway, etc. Will definitely be going back and making more family memories here!

We had such a wonderful stay at this cabin! It was absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and secluded—the perfect place to relax and unwind. The pool was fantastic and a huge hit with our kids, who had an amazing time every day. The cabin was spotless when we arrived and was stocked with everything we could possibly need, making our stay so easy and comfortable. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into making guests feel at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better place for our family getaway and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, private, and family-friendly retreat!

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Bell Bottom Retreat. We stayed at the Ember, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Traveling with teens can make it tough to find a place that everyone genuinely enjoys, but Bell Bottom Retreat checked every box. We spent our days hiking the trails, fishing, relaxing in the hammocks, floating in the spa pool, and ended each evening around the fire making memories together. The cabin itself was just as impressive. Every bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to rest and recharge. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with quality cookware and appliances that made cooking feel effortless. As coffee lovers, we especially appreciated having multiple ways to brew our morning cup, including drip, Keurig, and French press, along with delicious locally roasted coffee waiting for us when we arrived. It was such a thoughtful touch. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that combines comfort, adventure, and attention to detail, this is it. Our family made memories we’ll be talking about for years to come, and we can’t wait to come back.
